For event registration and ticketing
Effective date: August 11, 2026
Important Use this as a click-through agreement at registration. For higher-risk activities, alcohol-heavy events, travel, sports, transportation, or unusual venues, use a tailored event-specific addendum reviewed by counsel.
1. Registration and Admission
Registration is personal, subject to capacity, eligibility, and event rules, and may not be transferred without permission. AI Insiders may refuse or revoke admission for safety, security, misconduct, fraud, disruption, nonpayment, capacity, or violation of event rules. A ticket, RSVP, or approval does not guarantee entry if identity, eligibility, or safety requirements are not met.
2. Code of Conduct
-
Treat attendees, staff, speakers, vendors, and venue personnel with respect.
-
No harassment, threats, discrimination, intimidation, stalking, violence, or unwanted sexual conduct.
-
No unauthorized solicitation, attendee-list harvesting, mass outreach, scraping, recording, photography in restricted areas, or misuse of confidential information.
-
Follow venue rules, staff directions, security requirements, and any room-specific confidentiality or attribution rules.
3. Assumption of Ordinary Event Risks
You understand that in-person events involve ordinary risks, including travel, crowds, slips or falls, food or beverage reactions, exposure to illness, interactions with third parties, and property loss. To the extent permitted by law, you voluntarily assume risks that are inherent in attending the event and that cannot reasonably be eliminated through ordinary care. This clause does not release AI Insiders from liability that cannot legally be waived, including liability for gross negligence, reckless conduct, or intentional misconduct where applicable.
4. Alcohol
If alcohol is served, you must comply with age and identification requirements and drink responsibly. Do not drive or operate machinery while impaired. AI Insiders may stop service or remove an attendee whose behavior creates a safety concern.
5. Photography and Recording
Unless an event or room is expressly designated "no recording," you acknowledge that event photography or audiovisual recording may occur. Where required, AI Insiders will use registration disclosures, signage, announcements, or releases to obtain appropriate consent. If you are participating as a featured speaker, interview guest, performer, or other principal subject, a separate speaker/media release should be used.
6. Confidential or Off-the-Record Sessions
Certain sessions may be designated confidential, off-the-record, non-attributable, or subject to Chatham House-style rules. If so designated, you agree not to disclose restricted content, identify speakers or participants contrary to the stated rule, record the session, or use confidential information for improper competitive, commercial, or personal purposes. These restrictions do not prohibit lawful reporting of your own information or disclosures required by law.
7. No Deal or Investment Guarantee
Networking, introductions, speaker access, and event participation do not guarantee investment, fundraising, sales, partnerships, media coverage, hiring, or any other outcome. Attendees are responsible for their own diligence and decisions.
8. Tickets, Refunds, and Changes
Ticket pricing, refundability, transferability, cancellation terms, and event-specific benefits are shown at purchase or registration. Events may be rescheduled, relocated, modified, or cancelled for operational, safety, force-majeure, venue, speaker, or other legitimate reasons. If an event-specific refund policy conflicts with this section, that policy controls.
9. Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AI INSIDERS AND MARVELOUS UNITED, INC. ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROPERTY, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL ARISING FROM EVENT PARTICIPATION. NOTHING HERE LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LEGALLY BE LIMITED.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by California law. Unless a separate signed agreement provides otherwise, venue will lie in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
11. Private Room, Recording, and AI Tool Rules
A session designated private, confidential, off-the-record, non-attributable, or otherwise restricted may not be recorded, livestreamed, photographed, transcribed, screenshotted, or captured by an AI note bot or other automated system without express authorization from AI Insiders and all other consent required by applicable law. This restriction includes covert recording and background transcription.
For a restricted session, you may not publish or attribute another participant's statements, identity-linked opinions, contact information, or confidential business information except as the stated room rule permits. AI Insiders may remove a participant or revoke future access for violating these rules.
12. Media Consent Is Context-Specific
General event photography notice does not authorize synthetic voice, face replacement, deceptive endorsement, or creation of a digital replica. Featured interviews, performances, or materially edited contributor content should be covered by a separate speaker, interview, or media release.
