FTC-facing compliance policy for sponsors, creators, staff, speakers, and affiliates
Effective date: August 11, 2026
1. Core Rule
Advertising, endorsements, testimonials, reviews, and sponsored content connected to AI Insiders must be truthful, not misleading, and supported where claims require substantiation. Material connections that could affect how an audience evaluates an endorsement must be clearly and conspicuously disclosed.
2. Material Connections
Disclose payments, sponsorships, free tickets, travel, gifts, discounts, commissions, employment, ownership, family relationships, or other benefits when the connection would not be reasonably obvious to the audience.
3. Disclosure Placement
-
Put the disclosure where people will see and understand it before or with the endorsement, not only in a bio, terms page, or buried hashtag list.
-
Use plain language such as "Sponsored by [Brand]," "Paid partnership with [Brand]," "Ad," or another clear statement appropriate to the relationship.
-
For video or live content, use an audible and/or visual disclosure appropriate to how the endorsement is delivered. Platform disclosure tools may be used but do not replace a clear disclosure if the tool is insufficient.
4. Testimonials and Outcomes
Do not fabricate testimonials, suppress negative reviews unlawfully, condition incentives on positive sentiment, or present exceptional outcomes as typical without appropriate context. Claims such as revenue, funding, deals, customer growth, or other results must be accurate, supportable, and described in a way that does not imply AI Insiders caused an outcome unless that causal claim can be substantiated.
5. Sponsor and Speaker Boundaries
Sponsors do not control independent editorial conclusions or investment decisions. Speakers and creators must disclose material relationships when making product or company recommendations in circumstances where disclosure is required. AI Insiders may require pre-approval or correction of sponsored posts or campaign content.
6. Monitoring and Correction
AI Insiders may monitor sponsored or commissioned content for compliance. If a disclosure or claim is inadequate, the responsible participant must promptly correct, remove, or clarify it. Repeated or material violations may result in termination of the relationship.

Monitoring, Approval, and Correction
Where Marvelous engages or compensates an influencer, ambassador, contractor, speaker, or other endorser, the applicable campaign owner should provide disclosure instructions, review required pre-approval deliverables, maintain evidence of the approved content, and take reasonable corrective action if a material connection is omitted or an unsupported claim is published.
A disclosure should be placed with the endorsement in a manner that is difficult to miss and should use clear language appropriate to the platform and audience. Platform disclosure tools may supplement, but should not be assumed to replace, an otherwise clear disclosure.
